About Tall Hill Lake House

Tall Hill Lake House is a cozy cabin nestled in the Poconos Lakes Region, minutes from Lake Wallenpaupack and the cozy towns of Hawley and Honesdale. The cabin is located in a gated community, well balanced between woods isolation and plenty of amenities. The Hideout is one of the top rated communities in the Poconos, with 5 lakes, 2 swimming pools, ski-lift on the ski slope, golf course, tennis, basketball and racquetball courts, gym, and a friendly bar & restaurant at the Clubhouse. There are about 4,000 cabins in the Community, immersed in nature and with a laid back, old time pace feeling.

The location is not remote, but quiet enough to make us feel in total relax even if we come from nothing less than the hustle and bustle of Lancaster, PA, Amish country. Wildlife is abundant as we have spotted, from our patio or during our hikes around the Lake, plenty of deer, raccoons, minks, wild turkeys, and an interesting fella who looks like a solid black squirrel.

Trails in the area are phenomenal, not far from the Pennsylvania portion of the Appalachian Trail, and boating, fishing and all lake activities are great for family fun and entertainment. A few minutes from Hawley and its Hallmark-movie charm, and 30 minutes from Scranton.
